ENGraphted Inc. is an Engineering Firm registered in the State of Minnesota. Since the formation of ENGraphted Inc. in 2000, Guy has been working as an independent Engineer after an accomplished career in the industry. What is a PE? A Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) must meet specific educational, examination, and experience requirements in their area of practice. In the US, the accrediting organization for professional engineers is the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES). PE status is granted on a State-by-State basis. Once accredited, the PE must maintain a state-specified level of continuing education (CEUs).
What is an Engineering Firm? An engineering firm must employ a Principal Engineer who holds a PE license in the field of practice. State Licensing Boards oversee this process, and in Minnesota it is the Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Geoscience, and Interior Design, or in short, the Board of AELSLAGID. The most common cease and desist order issued by the State Board is for unlicensed individuals or companies who promote themselves to offer services in these areas.
